    What happened to Mixon?
  3. Huntermsu Mr. Negativity

Best I can tell he had a lackluster first game nothing earth shattering...
  4. Blaming Barry Well-Known Member

He's been Marvin'd. Not sure how everyone didn't see this coming. Just curious what the point of this thread is. Rusty must be drunk again.

I think at this point every RB in the NFL is subject to monitoring as pretty much all of them have been claimed as part of team Rusty or team Dane.

He was supposed to be Jesus with a football.

Two games so far and ... nothing.

I'm guessing it's because he's trying to run with the football, concentrating on where the hole is supposed to open up ... and then he looks up at the advertisements for Subway sandwiches on the jumbotron, and it brings back traumatic memories of being slapped by girls.

    Poor guy.

Or Marvin Lewis is his head coach.

Not quite following you BB. What is "He's been Marvin'd"?
  9. Rusty Hilger VP, Wrist Cutter's Club

    Marvin Lewis, head coach, Bengals.

People like to say he ruins talent. Even though his QB was someone no one's ever heard of from nowhere and he became a playoff QB practically every season he's played. One of his nobody receivers even managed to cash in on a big payday with the Lions, despite just being an average nobody receiver.

Actually Rusty is incorrect. It is more a reflection that Marvin is so stubborn and seems to hate rookies and will always play the far less talented veteran over the green rookie.

Which totally explains why the Bengals are losing.

They're not handing off or throwing to him on EVERY PLAY like they should.

    Thanks BB.

Hunt has 5 carries for 8 yards at halftime.
  15. badnews3123 Well-Known Member

1 more yard than Jordan Howard.
  16. TheDane Well-Known Member

Surprised Howard is playing today, the Bears are worse than last year.
  17. Blaming Barry Well-Known Member

And there he goes...53 yard TD.
  18. TheDane Well-Known Member

    Nice run.
  19. Liongeezer Ornery Old Fart

Great blocking on that run, he barely got touched. The Chiefs OL is really knocking people around run blocking. Very poor angle by the safety. However, for his size Hunt runs with a lot of power and is hard to bring down.

    He's 215-220, he's not small.
  21. Liongeezer Ornery Old Fart

215 lbs, if he has just drank a quart of gatorade. You are right he is not small, but he is for the size RBs I like.

Really wish we drafted Hunt. Mixon will end up being the starter sooner or later. Lewis is going to get canned eventually.
  23. Liongeezer Ornery Old Fart

I think Bill O'Brien is doing the same thing to Foreman.
  24. Rusty Hilger VP, Wrist Cutter's Club

    Oh this is just precious.

All of the dumbasses' favorite running backs in the draft are laying eggs.

So it's the coaches' fault. You ladies are just too much.
  25. Blaming Barry Well-Known Member

That is a different situation. Foreman has a serviceable back in front of him in Miller, and O'Brien did increase his touches dramatically from week 1 to week 2. I thought it was pretty clear Foreman was the better runner in that game last Thursday night and I'm sure O'Brien will see that, but Foreman can't catch the ball and supposedly his pass protection needs work.

In Cincy Marvin Lewis is just a stubborn old bat and Jeremy Hill looks like a sloth out there compared to Mixon.
